Beginning Pitcher’s Camp

Instructors:
Chris Stewart – Former professional pitcher with the St. Louis Cardinals & Colorado Rockies Organizations. Played collegiately at the University of Memphis. Current pitching coach at Memphis University School. Over 15 years of pitching instruction experience.
Andy Cook – Former professional pitcher with the New York YankeesOrganization. Played collegiately at the University of Memphis. Current College Recruiting Coordinator for MBAA with over 15 years of pitching instruction experience.
Pitchers: This camp is designed for those players entering their first year of “kid-pitch” baseball. More specifically, pitchers will be taught proper grip, arm-path, both deliveries (wind-up and stretch), and fielding responsibilities. We will teach through the use of mechanical drills, video analysis, and full delivery pitching. Pitchers should leave this camp with a fundamental understanding of the position as well as proper tools to assist them in mastering the MOUND!!!
Camp Structure: Each Camp will be 4 weeks in duration. Each individual session will last 1 hour 15 minutes for a total of 5 hours of instruction. Pitchers will be divided into groups of 4 to ensure proper attention as well as the opportunity for peer observation. Sessions will be held on Wednesdays, Fridays, & Sundays.
Wednesdays: (September 8th, 15th, 22nd, & 29th) 6:00 – 7:15pm
Fridays: (September 10th, 17th, 24th, & Oct. 1st) 5:00 – 6:15pm
Sundays: (September 12th, 19th, 26th, & Oct. 3rd) 2:00 – 3:15, 3:45 – 5:00, or
5:30 – 6:45pm
Cost: $110 per Camp
