“During the opening ceremonies on Thursday afternoon, Miami’s Tamiami Playmakers assistant coach Ruben Someillan was drinking it all in once again. And even though the NYBC is brand new, he said he’d already put it up there with the Cooperstown tournament he just came from.
‘This doesn’t take a backseat to that,’ Someillan said. ‘The whole atmosphere -- you can feel it, you know? It’s great, it’s great.

Just wanted to let you know that we enjoyed playing in Cordova this past weekend. Although our games didn’t turn out the way we had hoped, we appreciate the way things were run. Everything was professional and organized and we will be back.Brian Foster

We played with you guys this weekend and had another great experience.
The fields were in perfect shape and well maintained between games and the umpiring was outstanding. I wish I knew the names of the umpires we had because I’d love to let you know who they were – they were all very good.

We absolutely LOVED your facility. We had a ball. I don't think some of the other fans appreciated us, though. We were a little loud and excited about our little team even though we lost every game. The kids had an incredible experience!

Thank you for the well run tournament this past weekend. We enjoyed playing. The rain delay was handled efficiently and we were kept informed the entire time. Once again, the officiating was very good. The parents and players and coaches enjoy the tournament so much more when the system runs so smoothly.

We had a great weekend of baseball at First Tennessee Fields. This weekend the better team prevailed in our age group. That’s life. My kids gave their best and that is all a coach can ask for.
I wanted to take time to provide some positive feedback regarding two exceptionally objective umpires you have employed. I believe the plate umpire’s name in the championship game was Steve Daniels. Forgive me but I did not get the field umpires name but both called a prior game with us this weekend.
They called two of the best games in this tourney. They call and control a game as it should be. Thought you needed to know their level of professionalism and expertise was exceptional. Please pass this to them.
We appreciate Ron Hobar speaking with the players after the game. He spoke about what I have been teaching these kids for the past 4 years.
